Get ready for an epic cycling adventure that will lead you through the less-traveled roads and unparalleled pastoral beauty of France's second great mountain range: the Pyrenees. These mountains are even more steeped in cycling history than the Alps, having hosted the Tour de France for well over 100 years. Tourmalet, Aspin, Hautacam, Peyresourde, Portet d’Aspet, and Azet are mythic cols with legendary stories added every year.
The Pyrenees also differ in character from the French Alps; with much of the central range being a National Park, we ride through unspoiled nature, dotted with rustic villages and lively spa towns. We've carefully selected excellent hotels and quality restaurants serving fresh, local cuisine. After a day on the bike in the high mountains, you deserve all the comforts.
With us, every day you'll push your limits, enjoy breathtaking views, and immerse yourself in the rich culture of the Pyrenees.
Your journey kicks off with a warm welcome in Bagnères de Luchon, your tour base. Here, you can take a Welcome Ride to warm up, choosing between the challenging Col du Portillon or a more relaxed route.
Throughout the tour, you'll tackle the legendary climbs that define this region. Conquer the steep gradients of Col de Portet d’Aspet, push towards Col du Peyresourde and Col d'Azet for unforgettable panoramic views, and ascend the imposing Col d'Aspin. The ultimate challenge awaits with the iconic Col du Tourmalet, a climb that has inspired cyclists for over a century. You'll also face Hautacam, one of the most demanding climbs, before a rewarding descent to Lourdes.
Each day concludes at carefully selected hotels for relaxation and recharging, followed by delicious dinners featuring local cuisine, offering the perfect rest after a day in the saddle.
